From "Questioned" to "Trusted": A Customer's Story Behind Custom Packaging

In the afternoon, as soon as I arrived at the office, I received feedback from Mr. Li, a customer: "This batch of cosmetic packaging boxes is extremely popular with consumers, and the repurchase rate has increased recently!" Looking at the exclamation marks in the message, I recalled the first time I communicated with Mr. Li three months ago—back then, he was full of doubts about the claim that "custom packaging can boost sales."


Mr. Li runs a niche cosmetic brand and had been using generic packaging boxes for a long time, with his sales remaining stagnant. When he came to us, he straightforwardly said, "I think packaging is just a box for holding things; is it really necessary to spend a lot of money on customization?" Faced with such doubts, we didn’t rush to refute him. Instead, we took him to visit the sample room of our factory and showed him a packaging case we had done for another similar brand. After hearing the case, Mr. Li still had some hesitation. We then proposed a small-batch trial production. Based on his brand’s positioning of "natural and minimalist," our design team chose environmentally friendly recycled paper, paired it with a hot stamping process to highlight the brand logo, and even printed a handwritten note explaining the product’s ingredients on the inner side of the packaging box. When the first batch of samples was delivered to Mr. Li, he immediately decided, "Let’s go with this plan!"


Now, receiving such great news makes us even happier than the customer.
